‘Binimoy‘ (বিনিময়) is the first Paperless & Cashless national digital transaction platform in Bangladesh.
In cooperation with the Bangladesh Computer Council under the Department of Information and Communication Technology for Socio-Economic Development of the country, under the project “Establishment of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Academy”, Bangladesh Bank has launched the ‘Binimoy’ (interoperable digital transaction platform).
What is Binimoy?
Bangladesh is on the way from digital to ‘smart’. Government services have been made paperless by ensuring digital connectivity with broadband internet and 5G spectrum. This time the National Digital Transaction Platform was established as an inter-transactional medium to make financial transactions ‘paperless’. Through this, all transactions including personal and commercial will be done in ‘cashless’ mode. On the advice of the Prime Minister, this forum was named ‘Binimay’.

ডিজিটাল থেকে ‘স্মার্ট’ হওয়ার পথে বাংলাদেশ। ব্রডব্যান্ড ইন্টারনেট এবং 5জি স্পেকট্রামের সাথে ডিজিটাল সংযোগ নিশ্চিত করে সরকারি পরিষেবাগুলিকে কাগজবিহীন করা হয়েছে। এবার জাতীয় ডিজিটাল লেনদেন প্ল্যাটফর্ম আর্থিক লেনদেনকে ‘কাগজবিহীন’ করার জন্য একটি আন্তঃ লেনদেনের মাধ্যম হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এর মাধ্যমে ব্যক্তিগত ও বাণিজ্যিকসহ যাবতীয় লেনদেন ‘ক্যাশলেস’ মোডে করা হবে। প্রধানমন্ত্রীর পরামর্শে এই ফোরামের নামকরণ করা হয় ‘বিনিময়’।
বিনিময় হলো বাংলাদেশের প্রথম কাগজবিহীন ও নগদবিহীন জাতীয় ডিজিটাল লেনদেন প্ল্যাটফর্ম।
