The university authorities have decided to increase the admission seats of foreign students in the first-year undergraduate (honors) class at Lana University from 2019-20. The decision was made at a meeting of the university’s central admission committee on Wednesday.
University officials said that before this, there was an opportunity to enroll one foreign student per discipline (division) every year. But according to the committee’s decision this year, two students will get admission. As a result, 58 students will get admission to the university’s 29 disciplines. Admission costs have been brought down to the general student level (excluding housing costs), including tuition fees.
The probable date of admission test has been announced in the first year of graduation (honors) in the public universities of the country during the academic year.
The decision was made at a meeting of the standing committee of the Bangladesh University Parishad, the vice-chancellor of the government and autonomous universities at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in the capital on Monday.
