The Bangladesh Science and Industry Research Council (BCSIR) has issued a notification for the appointment of 6 persons in 12 posts. According to the notification, 1 in the position of Lab Attendant or PP Attendant or Helper, 1 in LDA or Typist or Technical Typist, 20 in the Office Assistant (MLSS), 22 in Junior Technician post, 4 in the post of Security Guard, 1 in Mali or Gardener. , 1 in electric helper position, 1 in plumbing helper position, 5 in telephone operator position, 1 in technician position, 2 in junior mechanic position, and Stan. Applicants must have passed at least the eighth grade to apply for the position of Lab Attendant or PP Attendant or Helper. Applicants to apply for a security guard post must have two years of experience in security, including a former defense employee or eighth-grade pass. Applicants applying for the position of gardener or gardener must have experience in gardening with the eighth-grade pass.
Applicants applying for electric helper and plumbing helper must have two years’ experience in related fields including eighth-grade pass. Applicants to apply for the telephone operator must have two years of experience in related field including secondary school certificate pass. Applicants to apply for a technician post must pass the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination from the Department of Science or be a Diploma in a related field.
Applicants applying for junior mechanics should have 8 years of experience in related field including eighth-grade pass, and applicant for the stenotypist post must have passed secondary school certificate. In addition to educational qualifications, shorthand should have 1 and 3 words in Bangla and English per minute, and 25 and 25-word speed in Bangla and English respectively.
Applicants must be between 3 and 4 years of age on January 26 to apply for all positions other than junior mechanic post. However, the age limit for applicants in the freedom fighter quota is relaxed up to 12 years. The applicant must apply for the junior mechanic post in January but must be 8 years of age.
