Starting from 02 Nov 2019, Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exam are being started. On the first day of JSC, the Quran and Tajwid examinations will be held on the first day of Bangla and JDC.
Both exams will start at 10 am this morning. JSC Examination ends on November 11 and JDC exam ends on November 13. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni will visit Jinjira PM Pilot Higher Secondary School Examination Center in Keraniganj this morning, according to an Education Ministry notification.
This time the total number of candidates is 26,61,682. Of this, the students are 12 lakh 21 thousand 695 and the students 1 lakh 5 thousand 5. The number of students is more than 2 lakh 18 thousand 292.
This year, the total number of centers is 2,982. A total of 29,226 educational institutions are taking the test. This year, exams will be held in 9 centers abroad. At least 30 minutes before the start of the test, the candidates have to enter the center. An additional 20 minutes will be provided for the disabled and an additional 30 minutes for autistic children.
This year, the JSC will have to take the exam at number 650 on seven subjects. Examine creative questions in all subjects except English. Physical education and health, work and life-oriented education, arts and crafts, agricultural education, domestic science, Arabic, Sanskrit, Pali subjects will be continuously evaluated.

In most cases, the Board of Education is issuing JSC exam results on December 30 or 31 of every year. However, due to last year’s elections, the education minister and the authorities had planned to release the result earlier and so they came out on December 24th. Typically, a copy of the JSC mark sheet is available for download from the official website after the JSC results are announced. However, students cannot get the mark sheet through the SMS process which is used to test the result. The JSC Result 2019 mark sheet will contain the details of the overall score such as the name, number or grade of the subject received in each subject, passing or failing in the exam, etc.
The original mark sheet must be obtained from the respective schools. The authority will distribute the JSC mark sheet according to the roll number wise or registration number to the concerned student. Bangladesh Education Board for JSC Examination introduced a grading system for publishing JSC results a few years ago. The previous grading system continued until last year and will continue in the coming years as officials have not made any changes in the matter so far. The grading system table shown above tells us that JSC results will be given to the candidate in the grade and grade point size for the number range obtained. After the JSC Result 2019 announcement, the re-scrutiny process will begin immediately after the JSC Result announcement. The JSC Board Challenge will be available for candidates wishing to re-examine their JSC exam results or the marks obtained in any of the examinations. Each year, the Board of Education will award scholarships to all students who are qualified, meritorious and economically poor in the JSC exam results. Generally, JSC scholarships are divided into two categories. The first is a talent pool scholarship that is offered to gifted people who have received a good GPA, i.e., 90% to 95% and the second is a general grade scholarship that earns 85% to 90%. According to various sources, 30,000 meritorious people will be awarded merit pool scholarship and general grade scholarship will be given to 9,0000 students of general grade.
In order to qualify for this scholarship and know about their eligibility, candidates have to wait till the JSC scholarship result 2019 announcement. After declaring the JSC exam results in December, it takes months to announce the name or result of the eligible students for the scholarship. As per the previous details, the candidates selected for Talent Pool Scholarship will get Tk 300 per month ie Tk 3600 per year.
