It is engaged in the peaceful use of space science and remote sensing technology in Bangladesh. The institute is engaged in research work in space science and telecommunications technology, forest, and environment, agriculture, fisheries, geology, map drawing, water resources, land use, meteorology, geography, oceanography, etc. This organization provides the findings, theories and other information researched in the above field to the Government of Bangladesh and the relevant user agencies, and through this, SPARRSO has been making significant contributions to various land-related issues since birth.
